The ICNM is passionate about promoting best practice of its practitioners and is continually striving to raise the levels of education and practice within complementary medicine. " Effectively managing the finances, assisted by the Assistant Company Secretary " Prepare yearly income and expenditure forecasts and monthly updates along with the management accounts " Liaise with Treasurer of the Trustees and prepare cashflow forecast as required. Instruct the charitys investment advisors of any investment decisions made by the Trustees " Preparation of VAT returns for the charitys trading arm if required " Preparation of year end working papers and production of financial statements for the charity and company " Discuss fundraising events and promotions with Directors to ensure correct accounting treatment and maximisation of income. " Ensure all gift aid claimed correctly and gift aid audits managed " Complete all Company Secretarial duties including keeping accurate records of Trustees/company directors in the registers and attend meetings as requested " Submit annual returns before the deadline to the Charity Commission and Companies House " Assist in management of Trustees including meeting minutes and advising on trustee members on Governance " Ad hoc projects as requested " Ensure organisation processes and information flows are automated and process efficiency optimised " Ensure compliance audits are conducted periodically " Oversee payments including salary payroll and cheques by electronic transfer " Oversee preparation of minutes and agendas of Trustee meetings and arrange meetings in accordance with good governance
